Dearborn Danichan turns seven!!

 Dearest Danicha, I can't believe you are seven already! You will still always be my tiny little baby bean; my wonder boy who smiled before he cried at birth and brought so much happiness to our life ever since then ( with of course some 'dramas' every now and then). You told me the other day  " Amma, The word drama shouldn't be in your vocabulary!", so we are not gonna talk about it today, especially on your birthday!. I asked you the other day what you wanted to do for fun on your birthday. We brainstormed on  baking cup cakes together and making a home made pizza. But to make my life easier you finally said " Amma, I want chocolate cupcakes, a chocolate cake ALL store bought; NOTHING should be home made! Also Papa Johns pizza tastes so much better than home made pizza!" So we celebrated your birthday with  'nothing home made' theme; just the way you wanted.

Daniel-Idiomatically Yours

 I haven been trying to be consistent with teaching Daniel an idiom or a proverb every day so he can skillfully integrate them into his thoughts and conversations. So far, I have seen him only use two out of the hundreds we have learned. 

If I ask him for help he would tell me " Amma, don't you know that if you need something done you need to do it yourself?"/

When he is on his tantrum mode he would whine  ' I am between the devil  (Amma) and the deep sea (Appa)". 

I hope he is just waiting to spew out the other pearls of wisdom we have learned together.
