My little dynamite.. I can't believe you are turning four already!
You are my miracle baby boy who laughed in his dreams and was born to do impossible things in life..
You are an energy ball always on the move. You love to wipe windows, mop the floor and clean up all the messes. Looks like have inherited at least a part of Appa's obsessive genes for cleanliness!
You love to be free and run around. You are not much into hugs, kisses or cuddles. When I hold you tight for a squeeze hug, you just wiggle away as if you are bound by chains that threaten your freedom.
You are obsessed with construction vehicles... If it was not for you, I wouldn't have known that fancy machines as skid steer and vacuum truck existed! The other day when I held a toy vehicle and asked "Emmanu, Is this an excavator?" you corrected me with a note of surprise and replied " No Amma, it is a backhoe!".
You have a blissful routine every morning on school days that involve elaborately packing your Spiderman school bag: choosing your lunch box, telling us what your fruit of the day should be and where exactly you would like the cheese-stick to go. You also make sure that the take-home folder goes back to school every day.
You are a people person and the dog lover in our family. When we go on our evening walks you greet everyone with your infectious smile and runs towards the doggies when Dani/Amma reflexly move away.
You are my little baker who loves to mix the dry and wet ingredients to make banana breads, marble cakes, almond cookies and tiramisu.
You area naughty little monster who does test my patience very often that I feel at my wit's end. But my heart simmers in love again as I watch you angelic face when sleeping peacefully.
You love to do things independently ( even if not correctly). Wearing socks or microwaving the frozen waffle needs to be done your way without our help!
You love to wear your spider-man hoodie sleeper; you also have strong opinions on what to wear to school everyday and which pajamas to wear after your red bucket bubble bath daily.
I love reciting your pet names even though you emphatically tell me that you are not Ekkumani or Emmanus .. Teacher says Emmanuel Jude Paul.
You were so excited for your birthday and wore Dani's cat-boy costume school. In the evening you decided to put on your bat-man cape. You were all excited for for trick-or -treating and rather than walking around collecting candies you were all for passing candies from our patio to all passing kids. You kept asking me eagerly " Where are all my people Amma?.. I want everyone to come here for candies!".

A: From baby class room..
Q2: Ok.. So do you think you came from .. baby class room, Amma's tummy or outer space?
A: From outer space.
Q3: Talking of outer space.. what do you think the sun eats for breakfast everyday?
A: Mac and cheese. Just like me!
Q4: What do you want to be when you grow up?
A: Ambulance driver.. choosing medical line just like Amma!
Q5: Why do you go to school everyday?
A: To learn and to do jobs.
Q6: Interesting.. what jobs do you do at school?
A: Line leader, door holder, calendar helper, book getter, window wiper. I love being the door holder.
Q7: Why do houses have doors and windows?
A: Doors so you can open and shut them. And windows so you can wipe them.
Q8: Who do you think you are.. a boy or a girl?
A: A dragon.Rawr!
Q9: Why do leaves change colors?
So they can be orange and red and yellow and fall down.
Q10: Why do cars have headlights?
To see all the monsters in the dark Duh!
