Emmanu can finally say a word without any prompts.
He has found the ultimate word that can express all his thoughts and emotions by using it in varying intonations.
In the morning he wakes up saying "No No No" in a gentle tone which means "No more sleeping, Amma! Time to wake up and feed me!!". It becomes a loud, shrill "NO NO NO" if I am still not awake.
Then there is "Noooooooo!!" which means " Why do you do this to me?" when we do something that he doesn't like as putting him on the high chair or changing his onesies.
I have mixed emotions; happy that he has a word in his vocabulary finally; but wish it was " Amma" or " milk" or something else. Also does it mean that we have been saying 'no' to him too many times that he has picked it up so quickly? So we have decided to say "I love you Emmnus!!" every time we want to say the 'N' word.
Daniel gave me an annual 'stool update' the other day.
"In 2021, my poop was looking more like blueberries; but no it is mostly like a banana".
Born to a pediatric gastroenterologist :)
Love my DanEmmanus
